India grapples with severe flood challenges, disrupting lives, livelihoods, and essential infrastructure. To bolster public consciousness and encourage preventive actions, the NDMA, in partnership with MyGov, is hosting an online quiz. This effort seeks to inform citizens about flood-prone regions, prevention methods, and raise awareness on flood issues, preparedness, and educate on the causes and impacts of floods.
Objectives:
Awareness Generation: Educate participants on flood safety measures.
Encourage Participation: Engage citizens in flood management and resilience.
Promote Knowledge: Enhance understanding of government initiatives and community actions related to flood management.

1st Prize: ₹5,000
2nd Prize: ₹3,000
3rd Prize: ₹2,000
5 Consolation Prizes: ₹1,000 each
Terms and Conditions
1. The quiz is being organised by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) with the MyGov platform.
2. Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
3. The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Start Quiz’ button. /
4. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
5. Questions contained within the quiz will be based on various aspects of floods, including causes, impacts, and safety measures.
6. Participants can only enter the quiz competition once. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted and considered.
7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
8. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizers’ reasonable.
9. The decision of the NDMA and MyGov on the Quiz shall be final, and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
10. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
